About Christine

Christine Huang received her bachelor’s degree in English literature at Providence University in Taiwan and her Master’s degree in Teaching English and Chinese as a Second Language from New York University. She has launched the Chinese Program at the Dalton School in New York and has been teaching there since 1991. As the founder and the instructor of the Chinese language and culture course there, she has expanded the program from one level to 7 levels of classes. In 2006, Christine was selected by College Board to attend the first AP Chinese Teacher’s Conference in Beijing, where she was certified as AP Chinese Teacher to teach AP Chinese course and design AP Curriculum. She has also taught at a variety of educational institutions, from elementary to university including Fu-Ren University, Baruch College of City University of NY and State University of NY. Christine has developed a solid program over the years to help total beginners off the ground with ease. Prior to her immigration to the United States, Christine has worked for several multinational corporations such as Citibank as Assistant Vice President, and Christian Dior, AT&T Wireless, Regent Hotel as Training Director.

Christine is now residing in New York City and has established her Chinese language services for children, adults, K-12 schools and multinational corporations.
